Thank you for your interest in our bereavement support group. Each session is designed to provide a safe and supportive space for bereaved parent/carers to connect with others who share similar experiences of loss and grief. The group provides a space where you may gain understanding of your own grief processes from learning and understanding about grief through a shared experience with others.
Each session will be held on Teams and will last for one and a half hours, from 18:00 to 19:30. An invitation will be sent to you to join the session. Please note that group members may join from any of EACH’s hospices. You are welcome to join the group from the comfort of your own home.
Please be informed that the group will not commence until sufficient numbers are reached to form specific groups. We are asking families to simply register their interest at this time.
Once the group commences, it will be closed, meaning that new members will not be added once the sessions have begun.
The sessions will be facilitated by two members of the Wellbeing team, providing a supportive environment where discussions will be led by the identified needs of the group. We encourage sharing of ideas and resources that have been helpful for others navigating through grief.
