Caroline Steggles
After graduating from Nottingham University, Caroline qualified as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers. As part of their public sector audit team she spent 10 years working with NHS, Education, Housing and Local Government clients across East Anglia.
After a career break while her children were young, Caroline spent five years within the Governance team at Flagship Group, the largest provider of housing in the East of England, where she specialised in risk, assurance and counter fraud, combining these with the Group’s culture of continuous improvement.
For the last 15 years Caroline and her husband Sam have also been growing the family business which started with 10 goats and now involves producing cheese for supermarkets, airlines, pubs and delis nationwide, in addition to running holiday cottages and an award winning Farm Shop.
Of farming stock, and Norfolk born and bred, Caroline believes passionately in the importance of hope and compassion and is thrilled to be part of the EACH Board of Trustees. When not working or on the school run, Caroline’s interests include walking in the beautiful Norfolk countryside, reading and singing and she is also a Trustee of Norfolk charity, The Clan Trust.
