Customers have the chance to win a hamper of goodies as part of a popular charity shop’s fifth birthday celebrations.
The East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) store in Main Road, Dovercourt, is marking the special anniversary on 14th March.
As part of the fun, every customer will receive a raffle ticket when they make a purchase between 9am on Monday, 11th March and 3pm on Saturday, 16th March.
A draw to determine the lucky winner will then take place at 4pm on the 16th.
“It’s a fun way to thank our loyal customers,” said shop manager Kathryn Newell.
“We’re lucky to have such fantastic support and these people have helped make our shop a real success.
“We’re proud of all we’ve achieved in the last five years, going from strength to strength, and are looking forward to celebrating in style.”
Kathryn was also full of praise for the kind-hearted volunteers who have been helping out since day one.
They are Carolyn Day, Mandy Champ, Jennie Gladwin, Judith Harris, Sheila Sewell, Sue Ross, Jason Boyle, Sharon Cook, Jo Hare, Sue Vidler and Becky Wray.
“I couldn’t be more grateful because we wouldn’t be able to do what we do without these kind volunteers,” added Kathryn.
“They’re the heartbeat of our shop and have been a major part in everything we’ve achieved.”
