Teenagers supported by East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) enjoyed an action-packed day of tenpin bowling and arcade games during a special visit to Hollywood Bowl in Peterborough.
Three youngsters took part, enjoying two games filled with friendly competition, laughter and plenty of strikes.
After working up an appetite on the lanes, the group sat down for lunch before continuing the fun in the arcade.
The visit marked the group’s first trip to Hollywood Bowl and followed a recent outing to Cambridge Leisure Park.
“Everyone had a fantastic time together,” said Sandra Holmes, EACH’s Senior Care Assistant and Young Persons Lead at Milton.
“There were smiles all round, and that’s exactly what these outings are all about.
“It was also important for us to arrange an event for teenagers living in the Peterborough area, ensuring they have the same opportunities as those living closer to Cambridge.
“Everyone was able to participate fully, and it reflects our commitment to making activities accessible and inclusive for all, regardless of where they live.
“We want every young person to have the chance to get involved, have fun and spend time with their friends.”
EACH organises a regular programme of activities, giving young people opportunities to socialise, build friendships and create lasting memories.
Earlier this year, teenage boys enjoyed an activity day at Milton, taking part in a bunny hunt, feeding goats and sheep and meeting animals from a visiting petting farm. It followed a similar event for teenage girls in March.
