Ensuring the best possible quality of life, and making every moment count for children and families.

Primrose Harvey (2)

Our care and support

Our hospices are fun, happy and homely places for children to be children, and a dependable, supportive and restful space for families to be families.

Depending on your needs and wishes, we can provide care and support for the whole family in one of our hospices, in the family home, virtually, in hospital, or in the wider community. This ensures everyone receives care somewhere they feel safe and comfortable.

Our range of services is for both non-bereaved and bereaved families, and includes expert nursing care and short breaks, symptom management nursing, family activities and events, physical therapies, wellbeing support, care at end of life, bereavement support and practical help in the family home.

What families say

Kevin's Story 1

“I remember being amazed right from the start and still feel that way every time we come away.”

Kinga, Kevin's mum

Austin 2

“We decided to go once and have never looked back. It’s a place of warmth, friendliness and comfort, and so many wonderful things happen here.”

Maxine, Austin's mum

Bethany 3

“From the moment we walked through the door, you could feel such warmth, and it felt a safe, comfortable environment.”

Steve, Bethany's dad

Luke Cave

“I thought it was somewhere children went to die, whereas in reality we now realise it’s about so much more.”

Sarah, Luke's mum

Henry

“It was very different to what I expected and didn’t feel like a clinical place. It felt more like a second home, and all of the staff have been so wonderful.”

Sally, Henry's mum

Primrose (1)

"Primrose is in and out of hospital and sees lots of health professionals. Although they’re lovely and amazing, it can be scary for her. However, coming here and being in such a bright, colourful and friendly environment makes her realise there’s nothing to be frightened of. It’s great for her to make friends and spend time with other children, and I love connecting with fellow parents, too. It’s an opportunity to share our experiences, and they understand everything we’ve been through. They just get it.”

Katie, Primrose's mum

Poppi 1

“Far from being dark and depressing, I realised the hospice was the most beautiful place, full of the warmest, most amazing people – people I respect so much.”

Ian, Poppi's dad
