Physical therapies
Physical therapies encompasses physiotherapy, occupational therapy and hydrotherapy. These therapies play a crucial role in alleviating pain, strengthening muscles and reducing stiffness, empowering children to move with greater ease, independence and confidence.
Our physiotherapists, occupational therapists and physical therapist technicians will assess a child’s positioning, moving and handling, and physical skills. They can also assist with ideas relating to activities, personal care and equipment.

Hydrotherapy
Hydrotherapy is a relaxing therapy that occurs in pools warmer than recreational ones. We have hydrotherapy pools at all of our hospices and sessions are supervised by trained staff at all times.
Benefits of hydrotherapy
It has physical benefits
not only does hydrotherapy help to reduce pain but it can improve flexibility, mobility, strength and balance. It also provides lots a sensory stimulation.
It makes memories
swimming in public pools is often not possible for families who use EACH services. In our hydrotherapy pools, the whole family can come together and use this time for play as well as therapy, making special memories in the process.
