Members of the public have the chance to get Christmassy and meet Santa Claus when East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) hosts its popular Winter Wonderland events.
The festive fundraisers are taking place at Milton, near Cambridge, The Nook, near Norwich, and The Treehouse, in Ipswich, on Sunday, 8th December.
As well as being a golden opportunity to raise funds and awareness, they will give visitors a chance to spend time at the hospices and see their beautiful grounds, while also enjoying refreshments.
“We always look forward to hosting our Winter Wonderlands,” said Tina Burdett, EACH’s Community Fundraising Manager.
“They’re lovely, family-friendly community events and a great way to engage with the public and raise awareness of our fantastic charity, while collectively getting in the Christmas spirit.
“We look forward to welcoming as many visitors as possible.”
The Nook and The Treehouse Winter Wonderlands are taking place between 3pm and 6pm.
Bespak is kindly sponsoring the Norfolk event, where there will also be a host of stalls to browse. General entry is free, while general entry including a Santa visit costs £3.
There will be live music, crafts, games and treats at The Treehouse, where general entry is £3. General entry including a visit with Santa is £5.
The Milton event, meanwhile, is from 3.30pm until 6.30pm, and the cost is £3 for general entry or £5 for general entry plus a visit to Santa’s Grotto.
As well as enjoying the hospice’s stunning lights and decorations, there will also be an opportunity to meet donkeys, buy Christmas cards and try your luck on a tombola, all while supporting EACH.
EACH also organises private Winter Wonderland events for families receiving support at Milton, The Nook and The Treehouse.
