Gardening Volunteer – The Treehouse

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per weekMonday-FridayOccasional weekends based on business needsWorking a minimum of 2 days a week in the office, and out in the field across Norfolk & parts of North Suffolk, and home*A Full UK driving license and use of own car is essential for this role*The role:As a member of the Community Fundraising Team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of the wider Community Fundraising strategy, working with colleagues to embed a culture for fundraising success and support across the wider organisation.You will be responsible for contributing to the team income target, growing and maintaining relationships with existing supporters, and developing new relationships and opportunities within Norfolk and North Suffolk. You will inspire and motivate a variety of supporters to reach their fundraising goals effectively and efficiently through building great relationships and offering first-class support. You will be focused on uplifting income and spotting fundraising opportunities. Responsibilities include: Organising and supporting fundraising events Engaging with local communities to raise money and awareness Proactively seeking out new fundraising opportunities Working as a part of a wider team, contributing ideas and examples of fundraising success Meeting income targets to ensure we can continue to support families across East Anglia Reporting on budgets for your area and keeping an up to date pipeline of expected income Maintaining accurate supporter records on our fundraising database Delivering talks and presentations to organisations to secure long term support Stewardship; through telephone calls, emails, letters, meetings and presentations you will correspond with a diverse range of fundraisers and develop an understanding of how our supporters like to be communicated with individuallyWant to see what it is like to be a part of our Fundraising team at EACH? Happy to work on your own at times. Flexible to work at the weekends.The role: Working with the shop manager to maximise sales of donated and new stock. Supporting the shop volunteer team by providing guidance and direction to their efforts. Maintaining a high standard of display, presentation and cleanliness throughout the shop. In the absence of the manager, ensuring that all monies are banked, daily/weekly banking & reporting processes are followed and shop is opened and closed at end of day.

Able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and commercial awareness. Able to demonstrate proven success in achieving sales targets,Do you have a hands-on approach and the ability to: Recruit and motivate a team of volunteers to maximise sales and generate income to support the work of EACH. Influence and increase sales and productivity.Experience of working with volunteers would be an advantage, however this role would also suit a candidate with high street retail experience. As this is a retail post, regular weekend work is required.
