Families came together and took centre stage during a fun-filled pantomime.
The special multi-sensory, interactive performance of Jack and the BeanSTEM was hosted by East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) and performed by actors from Head 2 Head Sensory Theatre.
Forty children and family members enjoyed some early festive fun, including songs, bubbles, puppets and props. The cast also used Makaton signing.
“It was such a fun, inclusive afternoon and lovely to see how engaged the children became,” said Ceri Dobson, EACH’s Groups and Events Co-ordinator at Milton.
“The brilliant cast members spent time chatting to every family, handing out costumes and recruiting volunteers to become part of their show.
“Lots of children ended up getting involved, playing everything from a town crier and cow to market traders and bakers. It was great fun.”
Twelve families receiving care and support enjoyed the afternoon, starting by having their photo taken with a special Christmas backdrop.
They were also given snacks to feast on during the performance, which took place at Milton Community Centre on Saturday, 29th November.
