Support for young people and Transition
We have a young people's team at each of our 3 hospices. Young people move to these teams when they are 11 years old, in the September of school year 7.
The young people's team focuses on transition to adult services, looking at how families and young people can take control over the transition process.
The team also work to enable young people to socialise with peers from all three hospice sites, delivering young people's events throughout the year, with themes such as sports, a beach party and our very own music festival experience 'EACHfest'.
EACH are working with St Elizabeth Hospice to provide a link for young people in transition via the 'Young People's Event'. We've made a short art film about this group which you can see below. Don't forget to keep an eye out for upcoming events on the events pages of The Den.
