Visitors will be able to explore the tranquil grounds of a leading children’s hospice when it opens its gardens to the public.
The event is being hosted by East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) at Milton on Sunday, 2nd June.
Highlights will include a plant stall and garden trail, while visitors can also enjoy a complimentary tea, coffee or squash.
It is the second time EACH has opened its Milton gardens to the public, following a similar event last June.
Community Fundraising Manager Tina Burdett said: “As staff, we’re extremely proud of our very beautiful and peaceful grounds.
“However, something that left a lasting impression last year was the depth of enthusiasm and positivity from people that came along. We had some lovely, warm and supportive comments.
“They enjoyed exploring and spotting the different types of plants and we’re looking forward to hosting something similar in June.
“It’s another opportunity for visitors to come along and show their support for our work, gain some insight and hopefully learn more about EACH.”
The hospice is in Church Lane (CB24 6AB) and gates will open at 11am. Last entry is at 2pm. Entry is £3, with free admission for those under-14.
