Families still have time to sign up for a foam-filled fundraiser in Norwich.
The Bubble Rush event is being organised by East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) and taking place at the Norfolk Showground.
Last year’s edition raised in excess of £80,000 and was enjoyed by more than 2,500 people.
Another bumper turnout is expected when the event returns this Sunday (26th).
Although the clock is ticking, participants can still buy tickets at a reduced rate by registering online before midday on Wednesday (22nd).
After that, they can come along and sign up on the day, although spaces may be limited by that stage.
“This is one of the flagship days on our fundraising calendar,” said EACH Events Fundraiser Emma Cook.
“My advice to anyone thinking about joining us would be to head to our website and sign up now.
“It’s very family-friendly and something people of all ages and abilities can take part it, including those with pushchairs or in wheelchairs.
“And in terms of the money we raise, it makes such a monumental difference to the children, young people and families receiving our care and support.”
The course features four bubble stations along a 2.5km route.
Participants can do one lap or double their enjoyment by completing the circuit twice.
Each bubble station has a cannon which will pump out coloured foam to create a four-foot deep bubble bath.

Emma has fond memories of last year’s record-breaking Norwich Bubble Rush.
The number of sign-ups was 1,000 more than the previous year and the fundraising total nearly doubled the £45,500 raised in 2022.
It was more than any other Bubble Rush across the country throughout 2023.
“It was an incredibly successful day and we were delighted to raise such an extraordinary amount of money,” said Emma.
“It’s the most we’ve ever raised from a mass-participation event of this nature and everyone had great fun.
“We received such positive feedback and loved seeing people’s colourful photos on social media.”
Meanwhile, the rest of this year’s mass-participation fundraising events are now live on the EACH website.
The 32-mile Norfolk Pier 2 Pier, from Cromer to Great Yarmouth, is scheduled for 22nd June, while the big two dates in July are the Newmarket Bubble Rush, on the 7th, and The Piglet Junior Hog – a family-friendly, muddy obstacle course – near Woodbridge on the 14th.
The Lego Walk, which is sure to prove popular, is taking place at EACH’s Milton base, near Cambridge, on 29th September.
EACH’s fundraising events are a hugely important way of raising funds.
Another recent highlight was the return of EACH’s Norwich Abseil, in March.
Back for the first time in three years, 70 people took part – a sell-out – and raised more than £18,200.
