By kind permission of the Bishop of Norwich, The Rt Revd Graham Usher and Mrs Rachel Usher, this is a rare opportunity to enjoy one of Norwich’s best kept secrets. This unique and beautiful walled garden at the Bishop of Norwich’s House is open in aid of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices on Sunday 4th August.
This breathtaking, organic garden includes a herb garden, long herbaceous borders, ‘jungle’ walk, large wildflower labyrinth and fruit orchard, extensive shrubberies containing many rare and unusual plants. There is also a kitchen garden and a bamboo walk.
We will be serving refreshments and delicious homemade cakes. There will be a children’s treasure trail, face painting, live music from Norwich Ukulele Society and Arts and Crafts by EACH patron and local artist, Lucy Loveheart.
Book now so you don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to explore this historic private four acre garden whilst supporting your local children’s hospice.
Tickets are £5 per person. Under 16s (must be accompanied by a paying adult) and wheelchair users are free.
Gates open from 1:00 pm until 4:30 pm. Last entry is 4:00 pm. Unfortunately, only assistance dogs are allowed on site, no exceptions.
Online ticket sales will close at 4pm on Friday 2nd August, and tickets will then be available on the day.
