East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) is celebrating after receiving prestigious Investors in People (IIP) Silver Accreditation.
This is external recognition that places the charity among a select group of organisations committed to exceptional people management and continuous improvement.
The achievement reflects its dedication to creating a positive, inclusive environment where colleagues can thrive, develop and deliver the very best care and support to children and families across the region.
EACH first achieved IIP ‘Standard’ Accreditation in 2021. Since then, it has continued to strengthen its culture, leadership and development practices, earning this coveted award as a result of its ongoing commitment to excellence.
“This achievement is something to be truly proud of,” said EACH Chief Executive Kevin Clements.
“It recognises a lot of hard work and reflects the enthusiasm, passion and professionalism our dedicated teams bring to their work every single day.
“We constantly strive to be the best we can be, harnessing colleagues’ energy, thoughts and talent to make a real difference.
“However, from time to time, it’s useful to look at how we can build on existing practices and do this in a more formal, structured way, and that’s why we’re so delighted to receive this accreditation.”
The award follows a comprehensive process, including feedback from an all-staff Employee Engagement at EACH survey, as well as an evaluation of the organisation’s leadership, policies and practices, together with a comprehensive assessment against the IIP framework.
“It’s another step forward and reinforces our commitment to building a positive and inclusive environment, where colleagues can flourish, develop and deliver the very best care and support to children and families,” added Kevin.
“We’re delighted but will not rest on our laurels, instead using the feedback and recommendations to keep making further improvements.”
