“The atmosphere was fantastic from start to finish, with everyone embracing the theme and enjoying an evening of music, creativity and togetherness” – families step into a Wild West wonderland for EACH’s first Treehouse Hoedown

Families enjoyed an evening of western-themed fun when East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) hosted its first-ever Treehouse Hoedown.

The special event featured music, laughter and entertainment and was enjoyed by 45 people representing 13 families.

Guests arrived through saloon-style doors and stepped into a Wild West wonderland, complete with straw bales, cowboy hats and country-inspired decorations.

EACH staff, volunteers and guests all saddled up to help create an unforgettable experience for the children and families attending.

The evening was led by Music Therapist Ray Travasso, who guided guests through a creative musical journey filled with sound, rhythm and imagination.

They sang along to country classics and enjoyed a special tribute to music legend Dolly Parton.

The biggest stars of the night, however, were children receiving care and support, who treated the audience to some very special performances.

Families also enjoyed live music from a band featuring guest performers, including EACH Chief Executive Kevin Clements.

The event provided families with an opportunity to come together, have fun and create lasting memories in a welcoming and supportive environment.

“Our first Treehouse Hoedown was a real hit,” said Kelly Evans, EACH’s Groups and Events Co-ordinator at The Treehouse.

“The atmosphere was fantastic from start to finish, with everyone embracing the theme and enjoying an evening of music, creativity and togetherness.

“There were plenty of smiles, lots of dancing and some wonderfully brave performances from the children. They well and truly stole the show.

“It was wonderful to see families relaxing, having fun and making memories together, and we’re incredibly grateful to all the staff, volunteers and special guests who helped make the evening such a success.”
