“We feel blessed to be part of such a generous community and one that’s so supportive towards us here at The Treehouse” – families meet baby goats, rabbits and guinea pigs during a special visit from Allonsfield Care Farm

Youngsters made furry friends during a special Easter visit to The Treehouse.

The afternoon was organised by East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) for families receiving care and support at The Treehouse.

Thirty-nine enthusiastic youngsters and family members had the chance to stroke baby goats, rabbits and guinea pigs, brought along by Allonsfield Care Farm.

“Everyone had a lovely time,” said Kelly Evans, EACH’s Groups and Events Coordinator at The Treehouse.

“The families were able to cuddle and handle the animals, as well as receiving a donated Easter egg from our Fundraising team, and we’re so grateful to Allonsfield Care Farm.

“Having such strong connections within the community is amazing and not something we take lightly.

“It means we’re able to offer families special experiences like this, where they can have fun and make memories.

“We feel blessed to be part of such a generous community and one that’s so supportive towards us here at The Treehouse.”
