“Our Winter Wonderlands are more than just festive events – they’re a celebration of community spirit” – families have the chance to meet Santa Claus during popular fundraisers that help shine a light on EACH’s work

Families have the chance to step into a festive world of Christmas magic while raising vital funds for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).

The charity is once again hosting community Winter Wonderland events at two of its bases, and young visitors will have the chance to visit Santa Claus himself.

There will also be music and refreshments at both hospices, and every penny raised will help EACH continue its vital work providing care and support to families across East Anglia.

The first Winter Wonderland will feature craft stalls and is taking place at The Nook, in Framingham Earl, between 3pm and 6pm on Sunday, 7th December.

Entry is free, while a visit to Santa’s grotto costs £3.

Another event is taking place at Milton, from 3.30pm until 6.30pm on Sunday, 14th December.

In addition to Santa’s Grotto, there will be a Christmas light trail and visitors will have the chance to meet donkeys. Entry is £3, while entry with a visit to meet Santa is £5.

“Our Winter Wonderlands are more than just festive events – they’re a celebration of community spirit,” said Tina Burdett, EACH’s Community Fundraising Manager.

“We always look forward to them, and every visit helps make a real difference to the children and families receiving our care and support.

“They’re lovely, family-friendly community events and a great way to engage with the public and raise awareness of our fantastic charity, while collectively getting in the Christmas spirit.”

  • Santa slots are limited and there has already been a high level of interest in both events, so please be aware that EACH cannot guarantee a Grotto visit.
