“It’s such a fun night with a very beautiful, festive atmosphere. Everyone’s smiling and happy, and it feels like there’s magic in the air” – EACH’s Frinton shop is staying open late for the town’s popular Christmas Festival

Staff and volunteers at a popular East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) shop are looking forward to some festive fun during Frinton’s eagerly-anticipated Christmas Festival.

A raffle, mince pies, mulled wine and a children’s competition will be among the highlights of what is always a fun-filled night at the Connaught Avenue store.

There will also be free books for children, and the shop will be staying open late until 8pm.

“We had such a wonderful time last year and can’t wait to do it all again,” said EACH Shop Manager Lorraine Ingold.

“It’s such a fun night with a very beautiful, festive atmosphere. Everyone’s smiling and happy, and it feels like there’s magic in the air.

“From our point of view, it’s so important to get in the spirit and be part of community initiatives like this.

“It’s a great way to raise extra funds and awareness. Footfall is high, and we look forward to welcoming customers both old and new.”

The late-night Christmas Festival, organised by the Frinton Chamber of Commerce, is taking place on Saturday, December 7th, from 4pm to 8pm.

A highlight is the grand arrival of Father Christmas, assisted by Buddy the Elf, who will be welcoming families to their Christmas Grotto.

There will be a selection of food and charity stalls, free rides for children and a variety of live entertainment across three stages, including magicians, choirs and dance groups.
