Sweet treats are on the menu as part of a charity’s tasty new corporate initiative.
Fundraisers from East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) are heading out on the road for their first-ever Doughnut Dash.
The team will be hand-delivering sugary snacks across the region, in return for colleagues signing up and sharing details about EACH – and in particular its Business Circle – on social media channels like LinkedIn.
“This is our first Doughnut Dash, and we hope it’s going to prove a fun, effective way of raising awareness of our Business Circle,” said Billie Nugent, a Senior Corporate Fundraiser at EACH.
“It’s our way of saying thank you, while also reaching more people and making them aware of the benefits of becoming a member.
“Lots of companies have already signed up, and, as well as hand-delivering Krispy Kreme doughnuts, we’ll also be distributing Business Circle leaflets.
“Hopefully they’ll also take photos of their staff and share information online, which will heighten awareness. It should be great fun.”
Bosses are being encouraged to treat staff to a box of 12 original glazed Krispy Kreme doughnuts for just £25.
There will be four separate Doughnut Dash days, in Cambridge, on 30th September, Ipswich, on 1st October, Peterborough, on 2nd October, and Norwich, on 3rd October.
Each business can order up to four boxes, and they will be hand-delivered by the EACH team by 4pm on the nominated location days. Businesses must be within ten miles from their local Krispy Kreme outlet.
The Krispy Kreme premises are at Unit K1 and K2, Grand Arcade, St Andrews Street, Cambridge, CB2 3BJ, The Buttermarket, St Stephens Lane, Ipswich, IP1 1DT, Hadfield Road, Hampton, Peterborough, PE7 8BT, and Shop Unit 105, Chantry Place, 40-46 St Stephens Street, Norwich, NR1 3SH.
“My advice would be to sign up and get involved as soon as possible, because it’s going to be a busy and action-packed day,” added Billie.
“What better way to treat staff and increase morale, while spreading awareness and showing support for EACH?”
