“These are funds that will make a significant, lasting impact on the care and support we provide” – EACH’s bubble-filled extravaganza is enjoyed by 1,600 participants and raises £54,000

Families enjoyed a day of frothy fun while raising a foam-tastic £54,000 for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).

Around 1,600 participants signed up for the charity’s Norwich Bubble Rush, which took place at the Norfolk Showground on Sunday.

They walked, ran and danced their way around the 5k course, in the process bursting through a rainbow of bubbles up to four feet high.

EACH Events Fundraiser Emma Cook said: “It was a fantastic day and another huge success.

“Everyone had such fun, and it’s always a pleasure to see so many happy, smiling faces and hear laughter all around.

“This is a true family-friendly event and a flagship date on our calendar.

“It raises a significant amount of money, and, once again, we were thrilled to raise as much as we did.

“These are funds that will make a significant, lasting impact on the care and support we provide to families across the region.”

The amount is expected to keep growing, with money still coming in.

“We’ve had some lovely feedback since the weekend, with people describing it as an amazing, brilliant and flawless event,” added Emma.

“They also spoke about the great, incredible cause they were supporting, and our thanks go to everyone who signed up and took part.”

The next big event in EACH’s fundraising calendar is Pier 2 Pier Norfolk, taking place on 7th June. To find out more, click here.
