Young customers at a popular charity shop have the chance to get arty and win themselves an Easter treat.
A themed colouring competition is being organised by the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) team in Market Place, Wymondham.
Children can get involved by decorating Easter facemasks, which will be available in-store from 18th March. Completed entries must be returned by 30th March.
Manager April Blane said: “We’re looking forward to seeing some colourful, beautiful creations.
“We love engaging with our community and hope this competition creates some fun in the build-up to Easter.
“Any families wishing to take part are welcome to pop in for a chat.”
The cost is £1 and the team are also running an Easter tombola (£1 for five tickets).
The shop is one of 19 run by EACH across Norfolk and April has high hopes for a busy and successful 2024.
“We’re very proud of all we’ve achieved here and on a mission to be the most loved charity shop in our community,” she said.
“We certainly value our loyal, existing customers but also enjoy welcoming new faces.
“Our shop has a great new-look, we stock a fantastic selection of pre-loved goods and we’re always keen to receive more quality donations.
“They can be dropped off anytime and help us generate vital funds – money that helps our organisation continue its vital work caring for children and supporting families across East Anglia.”
April is also keen to hear from anyone interested in joining the team as a volunteer.
“We can always do with extra volunteers, of all ages,” she said.
“There’s something for everyone and a friendly welcome is guaranteed.
“Anyone interested in joining the team is very welcome to pop in for a chat. These kind, selfless people are invaluable and we’d be lost without them.”
