“After the popularity of our Winter Wonderland events, it’s a great opportunity to build on that success and gives us another chance to showcase our beautiful hospice” – EACH is organising a day of Easter fun at The Treehouse

Youngsters have the chance to hunt for eggs and meet animals during a day of Easter fun at The Treehouse.

The special fundraiser, which will also feature facepainting, a tombola, games and refreshments, is being organised by East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) on Friday, 29th March.

The public are invited between 11am and 3pm and it follows hot on the heels of EACH opening its doors for community Winter Wonderland events in 2022 and 2023.

In total, around 700 people attended those festive gatherings – collectively raising nearly £5,000.

“After the huge popularity of our community Winter Wonderland events, it’s lovely to be organising something in the Spring,” said EACH Senior Community Fundraiser Anna Bruce.

“It’s a great opportunity for us to build on that success and gives us another chance to showcase our beautiful hospice, but at a different time of year, with the grounds full of light and colour.

“It’s such a lovely, tranquil place and events like this help us raise funds and awareness, as well as perhaps changing people’s perceptions about what a children’s hospice is like.

“Along with our Easter egg trail, we’ll also have stalls, refreshments and a petting zoo, thanks to Our Animal World.

“They’re going to be bringing along lots of different animals for children to meet.”

Entry is free, although donations are welcome. To register your interest, and receive updates about the event, head here and click ‘book now’.

Stalls and activities will be pay as you go and there will be a £3 charge per child for the Easter egg hunt (payable on the day).

Parking is available off site, just across the road from the St Augustine’s Gardens junction.
