“It’s a great way to save money and enjoy our events at the most affordable price” – discounted tickets are available for EACH’s Norwich Bubble Rush and Piglet, Junior Hog, as well as flagship pier-to-pier walks in Norfolk and Suffolk

Fun-loving families are being encouraged to get in quick and snap up discounted tickets for four popular fundraising events.

East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) has confirmed dates for next year’s Norwich Bubble Rush and Piglet, Junior Hog, as well as its showpiece pier-to-pier walks in Norfolk and Suffolk.

All four are now live on the EACH website, and generous discounts are available.

“These occasions bring our community together in the most joyful and uplifting way,” said Ellie Nevard, EACH’s Senior Events Fundraiser.

“We’re so excited to be able to confirm next year’s dates and want to encourage as many people as possible to secure the discounted rate.

“It’s a great way to save money and enjoy our brilliant events at the most affordable price, and the savings really add up – especially for those bringing the whole family.

“Every person who comes along is helping us continue our vital work, and hopefully the reduced prices make it even easier to join in the fun.

“These events are such an important source of income and while the ticket price covers the cost of the event, it’s people’s dedicated fundraising that makes such a difference.

“We’re so grateful for everyone’s support, and, as a team, we have various resources and are always on hand to discuss fundraising ideas, tips and tricks.”

The frothy Bubble Rush is taking place at the Norfolk Showground on 17th May.

The course features four bubble stations along a 2.5km loop, which can be completed once or twice, and this year’s event raised a foam-tastic £54,000.

The course is family-friendly, so participants can run, walk, jog, dance or toddle through the foam. Pushchairs and wheelchairs are also welcome.

Super early bird adult tickets cost £14, with a child’s ticket (four to 15 years) being £6 and infants under four being £3.

Next up in EACH’s 2026 calendar is Pier 2 Pier Norfolk, on 7th June, where the challenge is to walk 32 miles from Cromer Pier to Great Yarmouth Pier along the popular Norfolk Coastal Path.

This year’s event raised nearly £40,000 and was enjoyed by 49 people.

All participants must be 16+, while anyone aged 16 or 17 must be accompanied by an adult. The aim is to complete the walk within 12 hours.

The discounted prices are £30 for super early bird and £35 for early bird, or £40 and £45 respectively with travel back to Cromer included.

Pier 2 Pier Suffolk is taking place on 12th September, and more than 160 tenacious trekkers raised £24,000 during this year’s 16-mile event, walking from Lowestoft to Southwold.

Once again, discounted tickets are available now, priced at £25 for a super early bird ticket and £30 for an early bird one (£35 and £40 including travel back to Lowestoft).

Tickets are also available for The Piglet, Junior Hog – a firm family favourite – which will once again feature a host of wet and muddy obstacles and is taking place at Wantisden Hall, near Woodbridge, on Sunday, 12th July.

Families will set off in various waves, and the four-kilometre course includes crawling through tunnels, splashing into muddy water and clambering over hay bales.

Although the super early bird window has now closed, early bird tickets, available now, cost £22 for adults, £16 for children aged 12 to 15 and £16 for those aged eight to 11.

This summer’s event was enjoyed by more than 1,430 mud-splattered participants and raised over £47,500.

The super early bird ticket window for the Bubble Rush and both Pier 2 Pier events closes at midnight on New Year’s Eve.

Early bird ticket sales for all four events, including The Piglet, Junior Hog, then close at midnight on 31st January.

In addition to participants, EACH is always keen and grateful to hear from anyone interested in volunteering at its fundraising events.

“Whether it’s running stalls, marshalling or generally helping create a fun, welcoming experience, our volunteers are absolutely vital to what we do,” added Ellie.
