Committed colleagues are proving the sky’s the limit by taking on a daredevil challenge for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).
Twenty-four representatives of The New Homes Group are joining forces with 25 members of staff from Connells Survey and Valuation to take on an adrenaline-charged skydive at Sibon Aerodrome, in Peterborough, on 7th September.
Together, they have raised nearly £20,000 and are confident of taking that already-impressive total beyond £50,000.
Colchester’s The New Homes Group is a long-term supporter of EACH, having been raising funds over the course of the last decade.
“It’s a charity we’re overwhelmingly proud to support, having seen first-hand the services made available to families throughout Suffolk and East Anglia,” said group marketing director Gaynor Fisher.
“We’re delighted to continue our involvement and commitment to this incredible charity and forever grateful for all the support we receive from our staff, clients, lenders and suppliers.
“Over the years, we’ve donated in excess of £300,000 and also completed a skydive in 2023, where six participants raised £10,000.
“This year, together with our friends from Connells Survey and Valuation, we’re hoping to take our total to £50,000 and we’re already closing in on £20,000.
“To help us get there, we’ve arranged other activities like a head shave, raffle and bottle tombola. We’ve also been climbing mountains and taking on personal challenges, thanks to the support of our amazing network.”
EACH’s Senior Corporate Fundraiser for Suffolk and East Essex, Billie Nugent, said: “We’re so grateful to our friends at The New Homes Group and Connells Survey and Valuation.
“Taking on such a daredevil challenge underlines their commitment and desire to help the children, young people and families receiving our care and support. I take my hat off to them and admire their courage!”
