“Our sibling days are always popular and well-received and this was no exception” – brothers and sisters enjoy some high-speed fun at Suffolk Leisure Park

Siblings slalomed into action during a day of thrills and spills at Suffolk Leisure Park.

The day was organised by East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) for children who are either bereaved or have a brother or sister receiving care at The Treehouse.

Twenty-four youngsters took to the slope during their half-term holiday, enjoying some high-speed fun on ringos and toboggans.

“It was a great day,” said EACH Family Support Practitioner Michelle-May Wright.

“We were lucky with the weather – the sun shone after heavy rain the day before – and the children had such fun.

“Our sibling days allow brothers and sisters to come together, have fun and make friends in a safe environment.

“They’re always popular and well-received and this was no exception.”

The children also enjoyed a packed lunch together.

EACH supports families and cares for children and young people across Suffolk and the rest of East Anglia.

The trip took place on Monday, 19th February.
