Artist Lucy Loveheart is proudly flying the flag in celebrating East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) at this month’s Royal Norfolk Show.
The EACH Ambassador will be on the charity’s stand on both days and is organising a colouring activity for families to enjoy.
She also plans to sell her new seaside-themed range of tea towels, mugs and exclusive prints and cards with proceeds going to EACH.
“Being Ambassador has become one of the most motivating, inspiring roles in my life,” said Lucy.
“I’m hugely proud to represent this wonderful charity and all the superb work it does.
“It’s a huge deal for me and I spend as much time as I can working on things and thinking of ways I can help.”
This year’s Norfolk Show is taking place at the Norfolk Showground on 26th and 27th June. The EACH stand location is stand number 238, Second Drive.
As well as Lucy’s creative corner, there will be a retail section, selling quality women’s, men’s and children’s clothing. The fundraising team will also be there, running a bottle tombola and raffle, as well as being on hand to distribute leaflets and answer questions about EACH’s work.
In addition, ECHO! will also be heading along to meet visitors on the Wednesday. EACH’s elephant mascot is used to describe its work to children and the letters stand for ‘Everyone in the family is included’, ‘Care for children who are poorly’, ‘Home or hospice, wherever we’re needed’ and ‘Outstanding care and support when families need it most’.
Norfolk-based Lucy has previously donated artwork and designs for stationary, giftware and Bags for Life that are sold exclusively in EACH shops. Her Kiss Me Quick collection can currently be found at EACH’s Cromer and Sheringham shops and her Country Folk range at its Holt store.
Lucy is also planning to attend and support an EACH open gardens community fundraiser at the Bishop of Norwich’s house on 4th August.
In addition, having recently been part of fifth birthday celebrations at EACH’s Cromer shop, she will also be back there for the town’s carnival day celebrations in August.
