Sales of popular Christmas cards led to an ‘amazing’ £3,000 cheque for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).
The money was handed over by family-run Archway Cards, which generously donated 55p from every box sold throughout November and December.
It also helped raise awareness by displaying EACH’s logo on packaging and boxes, on display in shops across Norfolk.
Managing Director Chris Dyball said it was a pleasure to support EACH.
“It’s something we feel passionately about, having seen first-hand the level of care provided through our extended family,” he said.
“We wanted to try and contribute to the great work being done and were delighted to turn our expertise into something that could benefit the hospices.”
Laura Southcott, EACH’s Senior Corporate Fundraiser for Norfolk, said she was grateful to Archway Cards, as well as everyone who bought their Christmas range.
“As well as making this amazing donation, they helped raise awareness during the busy festive season and have kindly agreed to do the same next year,” she said.
“We’re so thankful and proud to have developed such a strong relationship – something we look forward to building on in 2025.”
Archway Cards is a long-time supporter of EACH and a member of the charity’s Business Circle.
The corporate venture, open to companies across East Anglia, launched during Children’s Hospice Week in June 2023.
Members have the chance to build connections and attend events, while at the same time making a financial commitment to EACH.
The cost to join is £1,000 a year, including VAT, and membership includes the chance to visit one of EACH’s hospices.
