Bargain-hunters are being invited to celebrate the opening of a new charity shop in Aylsham.
The East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) store in Market Place will open for business at 10am on Thursday, 30th July.
Located in a former TSB Bank, the shop becomes EACH’s 58th across the region, joining others in nearby North Walsham, Holt, Cromer, Sheringham, Fakenham and Wroxham.
“We’re absolutely delighted to be opening in Aylsham,” said North East Retail Area Manager Sally Rix.
“We’ve waited several years to find the perfect spot and can’t wait to welcome the community through the doors.
“Our shop will be full of fantastic pre-loved bargains, and we hope people will enjoy visiting us, whether they’re looking for something special, donating unwanted items or simply popping in to say hello.
“We’d love as many customers as possible to join us for our opening day. It’s a chance to celebrate our arrival in Aylsham, meet the team and see everything we have to offer.
“Our shops play such an important role in raising vital funds, and every purchase, donation and hour of volunteering helps make a real difference.
“We hope this one becomes a place the community feels proud to support for many years to come.”
The shop will be managed by Charlie Notley, supported by Sales Supervisor Caroline Shaw. Anyone interested in joining the volunteer team is welcome to pop in and find out more about the different opportunities available.
“Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do, and we simply couldn’t run our shops without their dedication, enthusiasm and support,” added Sally.
“There are so many ways people can help, from serving customers and creating eye-catching displays to sorting donations behind the scenes.
“By volunteering in our new shop, local people will be doing their bit to help us continue providing care and support to families across East Anglia.
“Every hour makes a difference, and we’re excited to build a fantastic team of volunteers in Aylsham.”
