“It’s a very tranquil place and this is an opportunity to showcase it, as well as raising awareness and perhaps changing perceptions” – visitors have the chance to enjoy a summer open garden day at Milton

Families have a chance to enjoy the tranquil grounds of a leading children’s hospice.

East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) is hosting a summer open garden day at Milton on Saturday, 20th June.

It is taking place between 11am and 3pm and entry costs £3 (children under two are free).

There will be a children’s trail, giant games on the front lawn, fundraising stalls, craft activities, the chance to stroke a shire horse and an opportunity to tuck into refreshments from pizza and ice cream vans.

Visitors will also get an insight into life at Milton, having the chance to ask questions and learn more about EACH’s work.

“We can’t wait to welcome the public to our beautiful hospice,” said Senior Community Fundraiser Victoria Goldsmith.

“It’s a very tranquil place and this is an opportunity to showcase it, as well as raising awareness and perhaps changing perceptions.

“Although the public won’t have access to the care floor, they’ll be able to see and enjoy our grounds and we hope to create a chilled summer family vibe.”
