We are delighted to announce a wonderful collaboration with DanceEast; the home of Dance in the East of England. Over the next 3 years DanceEast will offer a variety of events for families and will also attend events at the Treehouse, including dance workshops and performances.
The very special first event is taking place on Sunday 17th December at the DanceEast studio in Ipswich.
Bereaved families are invited to experience Arthur Pita’s magical storytelling in an enchanting dance-theatre production of The Little Match Girl. They will also get the opportunity to take part in a creative dance workshop.
‘On an icy cold Christmas eve in an imaginary Italian town, the little match girl wanders the streets with just one final match to keep her warm. Along her journey she encounters kindness and cruelty in a fable about family, friendship and hope.
Based on Hans Christian Andersen’s classic story, beautifully reimagined through dance, song and Frank Moon’s atmospheric music, The Little Match Girl will enthral children and adults alike.’
Tickets are very limited and so we therefore as you to enter the draw using this form by 9am Thursday 16th November. At which point we will randomly select winning families and contact them shortly afterwards.
Please do ensure you are available to attend before applying.
Please note tickets are only available for immediate family members.
