Once Upon A Flowerbed is a multi-sensory touring performance and interactive workshop for individuals with PMLD or SEN, as well as sensory learners. It gives participants an opportunity to be imaginative and creative as they explore Moonbeam Theatre’s immersive garden.
The show has one-to-one engagement, develops fine motor skills, has a sensory-based approach, an immersive set design, opportunities to make choices and supports exploration of the environment.

There are two time slots – morning or afternoon. Half of the group within each slot will watch the performance while the other participates in the workshop before swapping. We can not guarantee which you will do first, but you will have the opportunity to take part in both during this time.
This event is for our lead children, who will be the focus for the performance and workshop. We understand that families may need to bring siblings who are welcome to watch, however our lead children will be prioritised in interactions.
EACH will provide a small packed lunch for all attending this event, and hot and cold drinks will also be available. Car parking is available at this venue, but as this is a public car park we can not guarantee exclusive use for our families. Please double check alternatives before travelling.
Please note this is not a public event, it is only open to families who access EACH services.
