We warmly invite you to our annual Memory Day at Milton. This is an opportunity to come together with other families who will be remembering their babies, children and young people who have sadly died.
Arrival is from 12pm, with time to remember and reflect in the marquee at approx 12:30pm. The event will finish at 3pm, closing with our Bubble Farewell. Please note early admittance will not be possible due to set up of the event.
A special welcome if this is your first Memory Day and we hope you and your wider family will feel comfortable and able to join us.
As always, there will be time to light a candle in the marquee and contribute to a collaborative piece of artwork on the day.
We would like to invite you, a family member or friend to include a few words in memory of your child if you would like to. This could be a poem, prayer, or simply a few words of your choice. It can be read by you, a family member, or by a member of the EACH team.
We will be serving a buffet lunch and refreshments in our dining room, which you can enjoy in the hospice grounds.
Activities themed around this year’s storybook, ‘About Hedgehog’ by Dani Seatter, will be available in rooms across the site including an adult-only area.
