Autumn Art Therapy Group at The Treehouse provides a safe, confidential space for parents and carers whose children are using the child care led services.
Experimenting and creating with different art materials provides a sense of emotional relief and helps to build resilience and coping skills. It can be experienced as ‘freeing and fun’ and provides a place where parents and carers feel supported. No art skills are needed to join this group, just a sense of curiosity about how a creative outlet may benefit your wellbeing.
This is a ‘drop in group’ but weekly registration is required to enable enough space for a small group. This group is being supported by Sandra Smith, Art Therapist and runs for six sessions.
This group is not recommended for families using bereaved services.
Please note this is not a public event, it is only open to adults whose child accesses EACH care services at The Treehouse.
