The Sporting Bears Motor Club are a dedicated group of classic car and sports car enthusiasts who raise money for a number of children’s charities. They do this by simply offering ‘Dream Rides’ to the general public, in exchange for a donation to the charities they support.
On Saturday 15th October they will be at Rockingham Motor Speedway for a special ‘Dream Rides’ day and would love EACH families to come along!
Children and their families can have a day of “Dream Rides” in various sports cars in a secure environment on a closed circuit. Sporting Bears members will provide the cars and will tailor their speed under guidance from the children’s carers. A couple of cars will be provided as static cars for those children who do not feel up to a ride around the circuit, but may still enjoy sitting in a sports or luxury car and having their photo taken.
The day’s programme is controlled to provide maximum enjoyment for the children and their families with no public access on the day to minimise risk. The day will be split into a morning and afternoon session with families able to attend either but can also attend across the lunch break if that suits them better.
There are limited facilities on site at the weekend so families should plan to bring whatever they need. There is, however, a paddock onsite where there will be disabled toilets.
