St Edmundsbury Cathedral Abseil 2025 consent form

Please read carefully.

I confirm that I am in good physical health and have no medical condition that would prevent me from participating in the abseiling activity. I understand that it is my responsibility to inform the event organisers of any medical conditions or injuries that may affect my ability to participate. There is no upper weight limit however the maximum harness sizes are 60” for waist, 34” for leg.

I understand and accept that a certain degree of risk is involved when participating in outdoor activities. Please ask if you are unclear about any of these.
I understand that this abseil involves climbing up small narrow spiral stairs and I will also have to climb a ladder to begin the abseil. This will involve a required level of fitness.

I agree to abide by all safety instructions provided by the event organisers, including those related to the use of safety equipment and techniques for abseiling. I understand that failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or harm to myself or others.
