Every step you take will make a difference in ensuring the best possible quality of life for children and families in our care.
👣 We understand that not everyone can tackle a 25-mile walk or a trail run, but everyone can be challenged. Walkers can select the distance that suits them best, whether it’s 3 miles, 13 miles, 19 miles, or the full 25 miles. Every step is a victory, and even reaching the first base is an achievement for many. Rest assured, the Rotary Club of Ipswich East arrange for participants to return to base if they can’t go further.
🏃♂️ The Orwell Challenge is sanctioned by England Athletics, offering a validated Trail run. Runners will be timed for both marathons and half-marathons. Plus, there will be qualified medical support and minibuses on standby to assist anyone unable to complete the event, ensuring everyone’s safety.
💰 Since its inception, the Orwell Challenge has raised over £3.2 million for various charities and organisations, benefiting over 100 worthy causes. Now, it’s your chance to make a difference.
