Treasure chests, seagulls and board walks are just a few of the features in The Jetty Courtyard at The Nook. The area, generously funded by Merlin’s Magic Wand Children’s Charity and designed by the SEA LIFE Centre in Great Yarmouth, was officially opened by Harry and his family, who use services at EACH.
The area is designed to be a completely accessible space for outdoor play and sensory exploration, bringing in a feel of the beautiful Norfolk coastline.
Merlin’s Magic Wand Charity Manager Erin Woods and Magical Programmes Manager Amanda So, along with the build team, joined the hospice team on the day – celebrating their hard work with a spectacular and delicious SEA LIFE-themed cake, produced by local cakemaker Mocha.
“Being able to feel the magic of Merlin in a space like this, and for such deserving children and families is an absolute joy. On behalf of Merlin’s Magic Wand, we want to say a huge thank you to the SEA LIFE Centre team who made this possible, and another huge thank you to EACH for allowing us to create this space. We hope that this brings magic moments to the lives of countless families in the years to come.” Amanda So, Magical Programmes Manager at Merlin’s Magic Wand.
