Participants wanted for research study

Nicola Wallis a Museum Educator at the Fitzwilliam Museum is studying for a PhD in Education with the Centre of Research in Early Childhood and the University of Wolverhampton.

She is investigating young children’s engagement with museum objects and spaces and is interested in hearing the views and experiences of 2-4 year olds and their families.

Nicola is looking for families with children aged between 2 and 4 years old to join her for a visit to the Fitzwilliam Museum where they can talk and play together to find out more about how young children engage with museums.

She will provide play materials and picture books to use during the visits and listen carefully to what works well for you and your child(ren). An assistant from the Learning Team will join the sessions to take photographs for research purposes, and you will receive copies of these as a souvenir of your visit.
