Starlight Children’s Foundation are a national children’s charity that uses the power of play to make the experience of illness and treatment better for seriously ill children and their families.
They organise events and experiences that are designed for families to have fun and create memories.
Their ‘Escapes’, ‘Breaks’ and ‘Days’ programmes offer opportunities for children and families to meet others with similar experiences, make friends and take some time away from the stresses of treatment.
They have a variety of events coming up and have invited EACH families to register to become part of the Starlight Community. They will then be in touch with all eligible families with details of events happening within a 2 hour radius of them, as well as giving them access to at home entertainment, crafts and toys.
