Hunnaball Family Funeral Group has raised thousands for EACH and announced it will continue to support us throughout 2020.
The group has supported us since 2016 and has sponsored the EACH carol services for the last two years. It has managed to raise £3,172.45 in total through the events. This is just one of many fundraising activities the company has been involved in. Hunnaball had previously held fashion shows and set up a number of local talks within the community, with the money raised then donated to EACH.
Funeral directors Trevor and Melanie Hunnaball later attended The Treehouse in Ipswich, where they delivered a cheque to EACH staff and were given a tour.
Melanie said: “We are proud to offer our support to the wonderful work that EACH does for children in our community. With dedication and love they help families going through very difficult times, and it’s important for all of us to show we care too in any way we can.”
Hunnaball announced during the tour that it would continue to support EACH during 2020 with fundraising innovates so EACH can continue to deliver outstanding services to families.
Vicky Matthews, EACH Suffolk Corporate Fundraiser, said: “The continued support we’ve had from Hunnaball has been fantastic! Throughout each event they’ve held, Trevor and Melanie have ensured that every penny raised will go to providing vital care services for local life-threatened children, young people and their families in Suffolk and East Essex.
“Not only have they raised money, but they’ve worked tirelessly in the local community to raise awareness of the support and care we offer to families going through the most traumatic circumstances.
“Unfortunately, fundraising events like the ones Hunnaball’s been involed in simply can’t take place at the moment. Our hospices are still largely funded by the continued generosity of the public. With this in mind, we’re encouraging people to get creative with at-home fundraising ideas, details of which can be found on our website. If you have any ideas of your own, there are members of our dedicated fundraising team still available remotely who can help you get started!”
