We have been looking for a way to bring our EACH community together during lockdown, a way that we could all create something that not only connected us, but celebrated how unique and valued we all are. The idea of creating our Nook Stone Snake came from Senior Care Assistant Jo Bishop, who noticed how bright and beautiful the stones decorated by families staying at The Nook were, and suggested we create our very own stone snake. We hope that our snake will include decorated stones from everyone at the Nook; our families, our staff and our volunteers. You might like to decorate your stone with a name, some finger prints, a pattern or a picture – it’s completely up to you!
If you would like to add a decorated stone to the Nook Stone Snake, please drop it off in the box at the top of the drive at The Nook. We will be sharing photos on the website and in future editions of Family Corner, and we can’t wait to see how long the Nook Stone Snake will get and look forward to seeing each and every one of your stones.
