Garden centre goes pots over pennies for EACH!

EACH has received £6,174.92 courtesy of a Woodbridge garden centre asking customers to round up their bills to the nearest pound.

Notcutts, in Ipswich Road, is part of the digital charity collection box scheme run by Pennies. That means customers are asked by Notcutts’ card machines whether they wish to donate a few extra pence at the end of their shop.

The nationwide scheme has raised more than £10.5 million for over 200 good causes in just seven years, with 45 million customers having made donations.

Notcutts’ support of ​us last year extended to having the charity at its celebration of the first ever Suffolk Day and also stocking its Shared Memories calendar.

Following such a successful 2017, the garden centre has decided to extend its ​partnership with us for another year.

Darren Brooks, Centre Manager, said: “Notcutts Woodbridge is really pleased to support EACH and the great work they do, and I would like to thank our customers for all their donations in the last year.”
