Pigeon Investment Management is paying for a day of care and support from EACH across Suffolk today.
It costs the charity £5,300 a day to deliver our service in the county and Pigeon, an entrepreneurial property company in Bury St Edmunds, has managed to raise that amount through taking part in the town’s Colour Dash last year, a silent auction, bake sales and more.
Richard Stanton, Director of Pigeon, said: “Pigeon Investment Management has been delighted to support such a highly deserving local charity, which is working very hard to help so many children and their families during incredibly difficult times.
“A big team effort enabled us to reach the fundraising target of £5,300 and we’d like to thank all members of staff, friends, family and our investors for their generosity.
“We’ve chosen EACH as our preferred charity for another year and are looking forward to some more fundraising initiatives.”
To mark Pigeon’s success members of staff have today been given a tour of The Treehouse, EACH’s hospice in Ipswich.
Vicky Matthews, Suffolk Corporate Fundraiser, said: “This is yet another great example of the business community in Suffolk supporting EACH. We need to bring in more than £5 million from fundraising every year so we really can’t emphasise enough how much this kind of help is appreciated.
“A big thank you to everyone at Pigeon for their efforts and we look forward to continuing our relationship into the future.”
