New Ipswich shop opened by Ipswich Town FC Managing Director

Mar 08, 2018

This morning (Thursday 8th March) EACH proudly opened the doors to our second shop in Ipswich with the help of Ian Milne, Managing Director of Ipswich Town Football Club.

Ian Milne cut the ribbon at the new shop on Meredith Road, declaring it officially open. Our Ambassador, actress Helen Fraser also attended the opening and helped Ian to cut the ribbon.

The new store will be a sister store to our outlet in Felixstowe Road, offering the full range of goods customers are used to - but with fantastic bargains as everything will be priced £3 or less!

Helen Woiwod says: “EACH is known for having well-presented shops with a range of stock, great staff and volunteers - and there will be no exception here! Please do get in touch if you have any good-quality items to donate or a few hours spare to volunteer.”

Ipswich Town is a long-standing supporter of the charity, with players and staff visiting children at The Treehouse every Christmas for a number of years. This season, the club also proudly carries the EACH logo on the back of their home and away kit; the first time in the club’s history players have carried the name of a charity on their shirts.

The new shop, which will trade six days a week from Monday to Saturday, is our 13th in Suffolk and 29th across East Anglia.

We are after donations of the following clean and good-quality goods to sell: clothing, bric-a-brac, modern paperbacks, toys, jewellery, DVDs/CDs, household linens, retro and vintage clothes and small electrical items. These can be dropped off at the new shop.

The charity also needs donations of good-quality furniture and can collect it free of charge if you are unable to transport it yourself. Contact its Retail Distribution Centre on 01842 821620 for more information.
