A group of volunteers who strive to support good causes in East Anglia have paid for a weekend of care and support from EACH across Suffolk.
It costs us £5,300 a day to deliver our service in the county and members of Trinity Fields Fundraisers managed to raise £11,000 - more than double that – through a ball, auction and shooting event.
The group say they “strongly believe that sometimes it’s nice to give something back, put a smile on a terminally-ill child or help steer people on the right path”.
Members are supported in their efforts by various businesses, including FP McCann, High Flyers and Hartog Hutton.
One of the fundraisers, Kate Smith, was met at The Treehouse on Saturday (19 August) by our Suffolk Community Fundraiser Natasha Brame, who presented her with a plaque and gave her a tour of the hospice.
