A new EACH shop in Cromer was declared officially open this morning.
Cromer Pier’s Claude the Crab was the star guest, putting his pincers to good use and helping snip the ribbon. Customers then streamed through the doors, spending £1,019 in the first hour.
The interior of the former Barclays, at the corner of Tucker Street and Jetty Street, has undergone quite a transformation, with the bank having generously funded large parts of the work as part of its departure. Among other changes, the customer interview rooms have been turned into a menswear department and the bank manager’s office into a dedicated children’s room.
One customer, Charlotte Lennox, said: “I go in a lot of charity shops and I’ve never seen one quite like this. It’s fantastic!”
The shop will trade seven days a week, offering the same range of high-quality goods customers of EACH’s 14 other Norfolk shops are used to.
Anyone interested in more information on volunteering at the new shop should email Laura at firstname.lastname@example.org, call her on 01263 801998 or just drop by for a chat.
