Families from Milton attended a family fun day at the Fitzwilliam Museum at the beginning of August. The families enjoyed a range of activities including craft activities, a sensory story and a tour of the galleries. The ‘main event’ was a very amusing clay performance and workshop. Families were also invited to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in the museum courtyard. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day!
Fun at the Fitzwilliam Museum
A fun story about flowers competing to be the chosen bloom for a painting. Inspired by 'A vase of flowers with a monkey' by Ambrosius Bosschaert the younger. Written and narrated by Nicola Wallis. Designed by Ayshea Carter.
Please enjoy some photos from the day, and also a short film made by the Fitzwilliam Museum that formed some of the activities!
