East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) supports families and cares for children and young people with life threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk 

The post of Individual Giving Manager will lead. review and manage EACH’s strategy to achieve long term sustained income growth from individual donors, working with the Director to plan the strategy and managing and developing staff to deliver the individual giving investment plan. You will be responsible for managing relationships with external creative, print and fundraising agencies across a range of exciting new and existing donor channels.  You will also manage and develop EACH’s database (Raiser’s Edge) on behalf of the Fundraising Team,  to ensure that it is used to maximum efficiency to meet EACH’s needs.

As a member of the Income Generation Senior Leadership Team (IGSLT), the post holder will also make an active contribution to the overall Income Generation department as well as provide support and advice on donor development, supporter acquisition, retention and collaborate with senior management colleagues across the charity to identify areas of opportunity that can be maximised through cross-departmental collaboration

The successful candidate will deliver an exciting development of the individual giving market for EACH, through existing donors and acquisition of new donors and ongoing development of our programme of supporter journeys.

Fundraising information governance, GDPR and regulation are led by this ever changing role, and this year is a crucial year where new regulations are coming in May. The post holder will lead and embed a culture of regulatory compliance and risk management across the fundraising team, ensuring colleagues consider best practice in compliance as an integral part of the process when designing and delivering fundraising communications and activities.

You will have significant experience of individual giving with a demonstrable track record of achievement.  You will also have a good marketing knowledge of fundraising and the ability to use external benchmarks and ratios to analyse performance, to ensure that opportunities are maximised for EACH’s long-term benefit
