East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) supports families and cares for children and young people with life threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk.
Working alongside passionate, like-minded and knowledgeable people, a career with EACH provides you with the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people with life-threatening conditions and their families.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual committed to nurse development to join our multidisciplinary team. You will facilitate, develop and deliver care and clinical teaching and learning initiatives to promote the development of a competent and skilled care workforce.
You must hold a professional qualification in nursing (Child Branch) or other branch with relevant experience of working with infants, children or young people. You will have knowledge of mentorship, education and practice development with evidence of post graduate study (or equivalent) and knowledge and understanding of children’s palliative care services and recent initiatives in children’s health and social care.
In addition, you must be IT literate and willing to work towards a professional qualification in teaching if you do not already possess one.
The hospice environment offers free parking, tranquil surroundings and subsidised meals. As a values driven organisation, with a national and international reputation, we offer our staff a competitive package (including NHS pension if already contributing), extensive development and training opportunities, a flexible work-life balance and generous annual leave entitlement.
