Trevor Holden

Norfolk born and bred, Trevor attended Wymondham High School, before a short stint at Lotus Cars and prior to joining the RAF.

Having served in a variety of appointments, both overseas and at home, and achieving the rank of Wing Commander, Trevor moved to local government in 2004.

Following a short appointment in Derbyshire he joined Breckland Council as Chief Executive. Three years later he moved to Luton Borough Council, where he was instrumental in growing the council-owned airport and delivering the Luton Investment Framework.

Trevor oversees two councils in his current role as Managing Director of Broadland District Council and South Norfolk Council, with responsibility for a shared staff team of 700 operating over both districts.

He is also a board member of the National District Councils’ Network and Director of Big Sky and Broadland Growth Ltd, two wholly owned companies of the Councils, where he is focused on driving housing growth and delivering economic benefits for the region.

Trevor is a family man and Grandad. He lives in Norfolk with his wife and family and is a keen (if somewhat slow - in his own words!) runner.
